it is time to和it is time for的区别是：用法不同。

1、it is time for强调：是时候做某事了，重点在于做某事，后面要跟名词或者动名名词。

2、it is time to强调：是时候做了某事的，重点在于做某事的动作，后面跟动词原形或动词茄斗迅短语。

注意事项：

从句谓语通常用过去时态或should＋动词原形：

It’s time we started.我们该动身了。
